Singapore and Taiwan successfully manage the transition to their new facilities, marking another exciting chapter in LFS’ plans for expansion in the Asia Pacific Region.
LFS Singapore has transitioned into their new state of the art cold chain warehouse facility, now outside the Free Trade Zone.
This facility has Logical Freight Solutions largest controlled environment at 15-25oC with an allocated 20,000 square feet in addition to 1,000 square feet of refrigerated coolroom space and 850 square feet of freezer space. They also have a -80oC freezer unit.
The new location was necessary after recently securing the 3PL contract for Qiagen Singapore, continuing our long standing partnership with them.
With future moves in sight for a number of our offices worldwide, the Singapore facility is a great benchmark to what ‘state of the art’ may look like moving forward for the rest of the group.
Taiwan has also recently acquired new business facilitating the need for additional space and have successfully expanded to an additional floor of their premises. This now brings their storage space to 14,500 square feet with 2,500 square feet of refrigerated space and almost 2,000 square feet of freezer space. Taiwan also has 4 -80oC units.
With a sales team about to be established within the Asia region, the future is certainly looking bright.
